One dead in Salisbury fire
A man was found dead in a house fire in Salisbury, authorities said. The fire was reported shortly before 7 a.m. Monday at the single-family dwelling, the state fire marshal’s office said. About 25 firefighters brought the blaze under control in about 45 minutes. Damage was estimated at $30,000. The victim was taken to the medical examiner’s office in Baltimore for an autopsy. The origin and cause of the fire are under investigation.
