Man sentenced to 45 years for gunfight

A 31-year-old West Baltimore man was sentenced Tuesday to 45 years in prison in the killing of Nathan Walker Jr. during a shootout last year on Reisterstown Road, prosecutors said. Damon Stansbury, 31, of West Baltimore exchanged gunfire with Walker on the night of April 22, 2016, prosecutors said. Both men were wounded. Walker was shot seven times, including three times in the head, and he died. Stansbury was hospitalized and charged with second- degree murder, prosecutors said.
