Redskins safety Cravens applies for reinstatement
Washington Redskins safety Su’a Cravens applied to the NFL for reinstatement off the reserve/left squad list. It’s another step in a long process back to the field for the 22-year-old, whowas placed on the reserve/left squad list in September after he announced that he planned to retire. In December, his agent issued a statement explaining that Cravens was medically cleared to resume all football activities after dealing with “post-concussion syndrome” and undergoing “targeted treatment and rehabilitation.” The 2016 second-round pick suffered a concussion in the Redskins’ Week 4 win over the Cleveland Browns during his rookie year and missed the next two games. COLLEGE BASKETBALL: The Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference announced seedings and game times for its men’s and women’s conference tournaments, which will be hosted by Prince George’s Community College from Thursday to Sunday. The Harford CC men’s and women’s teams both received the No. 1 seed. The women’s games will be played Thursday and Saturday, with the championship game Sunday at noon. Hengst won his third straight Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association Class Astate meetthis past season with a time of 15 minutes, 35.6 seconds, leading the Eagles to a sixth-place finish. He placed fourth at the Foot Locker Northeast Regional championships, then 24th at Foot Locker nationals.
