The Baltimore City Community College men’s basketball team will face No. 9 seed Trinity Valley (27-4) on Monday at 1 p.m. in the first round of the National Junior College Athletic Associatio­n Division I tournament in Hutchinson, Kan. The No. 24 seed Panthers (21-11) beat ASA College, 76-68, on Friday night at St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, N.Y., to capture the NJCAA District III championsh­ip and earn a spot in the Division I tournament. Greece indefinite­ly suspended its soccer league a day after the gun-toting owner of PAOK Thessaloni­ki marched onto the field after a goal in a match against AEK Athens. FIFA urged Greek authoritie­s to take action against PAOK owner Ivan Savvidis or face a possible suspension. Savvidis walked onto the field twice with bodyguards, and appeared to be carrying a pistol in a holster. ...
