Reiff, Nalls each score four goals for Glenelg
Tyler Reiff scored four goals and assisted on another and Tyler Nalls added four goals to lead No. 13 Glenelg to a 16-3 boys lacrosse victory over host Broadneck on Tuesday in its first of two games against Anne Arundel County competition this year.
The Gladiators (5-0) had lost to the Bruins (4-3) the last two years and had gone 1-5 since the two counties collaborated to begin playing starting with the 2016 season. Broadneck defeated Glenelg, 7-6, last year.

Grimes scored twice during a 3-0 run in the first 10 minutes of play for Boys’ Latin.
NO. 6 LOYOLA BLAKEFIELD 10, NO. 3 ST. MARY’S 9, OT: Will Koras had a game-high five goals to lead the host Dons (8-3, 2-1 MIAA A Conference) past the Saints (6-2, 1-1). Tristian Michie scored three goals and Aleric Fyock made 14 saves for St. Mary’s.
NO. 8 ST. PAUL’S 9, NO. 5 SEVERN 8: Troy Barthelme gave the host Crusaders a 9-7 lead in the fourth quarter and St. Paul’s (5-4, 1-1 MIAA A Conference) held on to upset the Admirals (5-3, 2-2). Jake Lilly had three goals and an assist for Severn.
NO. 9 HEREFORD 11, CATONSVILLE 1: Freshman Connor Dunay won 11 of 14 faceoffs and senior JD Nozemack had four assists for the visting Bulls (6-2). The Comets fell to 3-5.

FRIENDS 19, GERSTELL 9: Jack Bauer had nine goals and an assist to lead the visiting Quakers (7-1, 3-0 MIAA B Conference) past the Falcons (2-3, 1-2).
KEY SCHOOL 13, CONCORDIA 1: Graham Wood’s four goals and two assists, coupled with Jackson Smith’s three goals, paced the visiting Obezags (5-1, 3-0 MIAA C Conference) over the Saints (3-7, 0-4).

NO. 6 ARCHBISHOP SPALDING 17, CATHOLIC 4: The host Cubs (1-3, 0-3 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference) led 3-1 in the first inning before the Cavaliers (5-2, 3-0) answered with a six-run second inning.
NO. 7 JOHN CARROLL 8, MOUNT DE SALES 7: Kyleigh Waugh (2-for-4) hit a walkoff grand slam in the the seventh inning to lift the host Patriots (4-1, 3-1 IAAM AConference) over the Sailors (1-3, 1-2). Emma Ritter had two home runs for John Carroll.
