Braves: Mike Foltynewic­z pitched a two-hitter for his first career complete game and Dansby Swanson broke the game open with a three-run homer in the seventh in a 4-0 win over the Nationals. Foltynewic­z (5-3) retired 20 straight batters before issuing a leadoff walk in the eighth to outpitch Stephen Strasburg, who left the game with apparent discomfort in his left wrist after 62⁄ innings.

Yankees: Aaron Judge hit a towering home run in the seventh — his 16th homer of the season — in a 4-1 victory over the Orioles to move the Yankees to a season-high 19 games over .500.

Giants: LHP Madison Bumgarner will make his season debut Tuesday night at home against the Diamondbac­ks after recovering from a broken pinkie on his pitching hand.

Brewers: The team placed RHP Zach Davies on the DL with right rotator cuff inflammati­on and recalled 1B-OF Ji-Man Choi from Triple-A Colorado Springs. Davies was placed on the DL retroactiv­e to May 30, when the right-hander allowed five runs and eight hits over five innings in a 6-1 loss to the Cardinals. ... CJett Bandy was outrighted to Triple A after being designated for assignment last week.

Rockies: 2B DJ LeMahieu returned from the 10-day disabled list and was batting leadoff against the Dodgers. He missed nearly three weeks with a sprained left thumb. OF David Dahl landed on the DL with a broken right foot, which he suffered Wednesday when he fouled a pitch off his foot.

Red Sox: INF Hanley Ramirez was released after the team was unable to find a trade partner for the veteran. Ramirez is now a free agent, and any other team can sign him for the prorated minimum. ... OF Mookie Betts landed on the DL, retroactiv­e to Tuesday, with a left abdominal strain.

Tigers: 1B Miguel Cabrera went 1-for-3 in his return to the lineup in a 5-2 win over the Blue Jays after missing nearly a month with a hamstring strain.
