Yankees: Jonathan Loaisiga took a no-hitter into the sixth inning and Aaron Judge hit his 20th homer in a 4-2 victory over the Phillies that snapped a threegame losing streak. ... C Gary Sanchez (groin) landed on the 10-day disabled list. Kyle Higashioka, the club’s starter at Triple-A Scranton/ Wilkes-Barre, was recalled and will serve as Austin Romine’s backup.

Tigers: The team agreed to terms with RHP Casey Mize, the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft. In 17 starts at Auburn this season, Mize went 10-6 with a 3.30 ERA. The 6-foot-3 junior averaged 12.24 strikeouts per nine innings. The deal includes a signing bonus of $7.5 million.

Diamondbac­ks: Shelby Miller allowed five runs on six hits in 3 innings in his return to the mound after missing over a year for Tommy John surgery in a 9-5 loss to the Marlins. Making his first start since April 23, 2017, Miller struck out five and walked two while throwing 85 pitches.

Rays: Blake Snell took a nohitter into the seventh inning and Kevin Kiermaier hit a grand slam in an 11-0 win over the Nationals. Snell (10-4) walked Trea Turner and Bryce Harper to open the game before retiring 18 straight, striking out five straight at one point.

Mets: An MRI showed OF Brandon Nimmo had no broken bones after he left Sunday’s game against the Dodgers after getting hit on his pinkie finger. He wasn’t in the lineup against the Pirates and is day to day.

Royals: Brad Keller pitched seven innings of two-hit ball and Wily Peralta earned his first major-league save in 136 career games in a 2-0 victory over the Angels in the makeup of a game that was frozen out in April.

Phillies: Demoted former closer Hector Neris was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley and RHP Edubray Ramos (shoulder impingemen­t) was placed on the DL.

Orioles: IF Tim Beckham, who had been sidelined since April with a groin strain, was activated from the DL.
