Towson grad McCutcheon to coach Wagner lacrosse

Wagner named former Towson University and Johns Hopkins standout Bill McCutcheon its men’s lacrosse coach. McCutcheon spent the past five years as an assistant at Monmouth, where he was a member of the program’s inaugural staff in 2013. In just the program’s fifth season in 2017, McCutcheon helped guide the Hawks to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference regular-season and conference championsh­ip. McCutcheon played one season at Johns Hopkins before playing three years at Towson, where he compiled 38 goals, 21 assists and 59 points in his final two seasons. Before joining the Monmouth staff, McCutcheon served a three-year stint as the varsity lacrosse coach at Millburn High School. In 2009, McCutcheon earned a bachelor’s of science degree in English literature from Towson in 2009. McCutcheon replaces Matt Poskay, who served seven seasons at Wagner before becoming coach at Montclair State. MEN’S LACROSSE: Washington College named seniors Trey Ritter, Kevin Trapp and Kevin Wilson (Centennial) captains for the 2019 season.
