Warrant issued for man accused of shooting four women

Baltimore police released an arrest warrant on Monday for a man accused of shooting four women outside a home Friday in Southwest Baltimore. Police say they “quickly” identified Dontae Buckler, 38, as the shooter after speaking to the victims and potential witnesses. Police responded to the shooting in the 700 block of S. Woodington Road., where the four women had just been shot, police said. The women’s ages were 36, 36, 25, and 47. Three of the four women have been released from the hospital. One of the women was shot in her torso and is still being treated in the hospital, according to Baltimore police spokesman Donny Moses. The address of the area where shooting incident occurred matches a last-known address for Buckler, police said. The shooting was one of several over a violent Fourth of July weekend in the city, with 12 people being shot. plans to reopen with face-to-face classes, five days per week beginning on Sept. 8. St. Martin’s appears to be the first school in the county to announce plans to fully reopen this fall. And the Archdioces­e of Baltimore Department of Catholic Schools announced in a release Thursday the goal for its schools to return to in-person classes on Aug. 31. Archdioces­an schools — which include six Catholic elementary and middle schools in Anne Arundel County, St. Mary’s High School in Annapolis and Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, according to the archdioces­e’s website — are required to follow guidelines from the archdioces­e.
