■ Raiders 31, Jets 28: Derek Carr threw a 46-yard TD pass to Henry Ruggs III with 5 seconds left, lifting the Raiders to a wild road victory over the winless Jets. The hosts took a 28-24 lead with 5:34 remaining on Ty Johnson’s 1-yard TD and the defense came up with a big fourth-down stop that appeared to end the Jets’ agonizing wait for their first win of the season. But they went three-and-out with a chance to seal it, and Carr and the Raiders had 35 seconds left for what appeared an unlikely comeback. Four plays later, Carr found Ruggs streaking downfield — beating rookie CB Lamar Jackson — and delivered the ball perfectly for the winning score. The lowly Jets lost their 12th straight and tied the team mark for longest overall skid, which spanned the 1995 and ’96 seasons.

■ Colts 26, Texans 20: Philip Rivers threw two TD passes in the first half and the Colts defense dominated in the second half to secure the road win. Neither team’s offense scored after halftime, but the Colts registered their third safety of the season.

■ Dolphins 19, Bengals 7: Rookie Tua Tagovailoa returned from a thumb injury that forced him to miss one game, throwing for a season-high 296 yards and a score in a game that included five ejections and a benchesclearing confrontation. The Dolphins lost their best defender when league’s INTs leader Xavien Howard was thrown out late in the first half. But they limited the Bengals to 25 yards after halftime and finished with six sacks. The Dolphins won for the seventh time in eight games to achieve their best 12-game record since 2003.

■ Vikings 27, Jaguars 24: Dan Bailey kicked a 23-yard FG with 1:49 left in OT for the host Vikings after he missed two extra points and a 51-yard try with 13 seconds left in regulation. The Jags lost their 11th straight game.

■ Saints 21, Falcons 16: Taysom Hill, filling in again for the injured Drew Brees, threw the first two TD passes of his career to help the Saints win their ninth straight. With the road victory and the Bears’ loss to the Lions, the Saints clinched a playoff berth for the fourth year in a row.

■ Packers 30, Eagles 16: Aaron Jones rushed for 130 yards and delivered a gameclinching 77-yard TD run with 2:36 left for the host Packers. Aaron Rodgers finished with three TDpasses and became the seventh player in league history to reach 400 for his career.

■ Giants 17, Seahawks 12: Alfred Morris scored a pair of third-quarter TDs and the Giants defense shut down Russell Wilson and one of the top offenses in the league. The Giants have won four straight. It was the Seahawks’ first home loss of the season.

■ Rams 38, Cardinals 28: Jared Goff threw for 351 yards, Darrell Henderson ran for a crucial 38-yard TD and the Rams moved into a tie for the NFC West lead with the Seahawks after the road victory.

■ Patriots 45, Chargers 0: Cam Newton ran for two TDs and the visiting Pats scored two TDs on special teams. It was the worst loss in Chargers history. Newton broke a league record for QBs he shared with five others with multiple rushing TDs in a fourth game this season.

■ Lions 34, Bears 30: The Lions won their first game under interim coach Darrell Bevell, rallying on the road to hand the Bears their sixth loss in a row. Matthew Stafford threw for 402 yards and three TDs for the Lions, who trailed 30-20 early in the fourth quarter.
