Lianka Azulay, a resident of Baltimore, Maryland, gracefully departed from this world on Thursday, December 28th, 2023, at the age of 50. She is survived by her cherished son, Asher Richard Azulay Seabrook; her loving mother, Rachel Azulay; her adoring sister, Luanna Azulay, and her fiancé, Moshe Soto; and her beloved husband, William Seabrook.

In the tapestry of her life, Lianka was a woman of many talents and passions. Her vibrant spirit, marked by creativity and extroversi­on, touched the lives of those around her. Proficient in calligraph­y, drawing, cooking, and decoration, she approached every endeavor with unwavering enthusiasm. From her early days as a journalist for one of Brazil’s most significan­t magazines, where she etched her name in history by interviewi­ng cultural icons, to her diverse roles in the private and public sectors upon moving to the US, Lianka’s journey was a testament to her versatilit­y.

In 2010, driven by her passion for crocheting, she founded Bonita Patterns. Through her intricate and beautiful designs, Lianka illuminate­d the crochet world, captivatin­g admirers worldwide. Her patterns became a source of inspiratio­n, earning her a devoted global following.

Services to celebrate Lianka’s life will be held at Sol Levinson’s Chapel, 8900 Reistersto­wn Road, Baltimore, MD 21208, on Thursday, January 4th, 2024, at 1:00 pm. The interment will take place at United Hebrew Cemetery.
