Carol Ann Harris Newbolt
Carol Ann Harris Newbolt, 58, of Bryant, Arkansas, passed away in the early hours of December 3rd, 2021.
Carol Ann is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Mckinney (Ryan), son Jonathan Newbolt, daughter Jessica Miranda, mother Rose Harris, brother Steve Harris (Christy), and sisters Cheryl Bosque (Edgar) and Rhonda Tomlin. She was preceded in death by her father Ronald Harris and dogs Sugar & Rowdy. Carol Ann graduated from Bauxite High School in 1981 followed by the Baptist School of Nursing in 1992.
The things Carol loved most in this world were her children, her animals, flexing her gourmet cooking skills, and sharing stories of all her world travels and experiences. Carol Ann was vibrant, classy, had an infectious smile and sparkling green eyes. She was intelligent and witty; never a dull moment when she was near. She was loved by so many who will continue to cherish the time and memories spent with her.
Carol’s daughter Jennifer will be hosting a celebration of Carol’s life on what would have been her 59th birthday at her residence on January 20th 2022. Everyone who wishes to celebrate her beautiful soul is welcome. Please contact Carolcelebrationoflife@gmail.com to be on the invitation list.
In lieu of flowers, Jennifer kindly asks to please educate yourself and others on alcoholism and addiction. Nobody asks or wants to be an addict. Those close to Carol knew she battled with alcohol addiction. She desperately wanted to recover, even returning to work at Baptist in the last year. She fought hard with everything she had but ultimately lost the battle. Carol Ann, like all others suffering from alcoholism, was so much more than the disease.
