HOME PLACE
Tumbling down
Dilapidated
Once full of life
Crying, laughing
Husband and wife
Working hard
Raising children
Camelias
Rampant by sagging porch Yellow buttercups growing wild Now cover the yard
Once full of life
Dilapidated

JUST SING
Fierce wind blowing as the storm moves in, yet in that barren tree I see a little bird holding on— head held high, loudly singing his song

SPRING’S SERENDIPITY
Below the falls of Petit Jean rocks-velveteen, quiet, oblique – in Cedar Creek defy the current’s constant crush, its babbling rush; while on the banks in puzzling ranks stones nestle into shady glen Dead leaves breeze in add brown to green: a tranquil scene.

ACROSTIC
B efore God created heaven and earth
E verywhere was void of people and birth
G od created heaven, earth, day and night
I ‘m glad he made us and gave us sight
N ighttime we can see stars twinkling above
N o doubt God sent his Son to sow His love
I n time, our lives on earth will come to an end
N arrow is the road that leads to heaven then
G od’s only Son died on a cross for our sins
S o we could have life in Heaven with Him.
— Milan Allinson Deceased HE KISSED ME TWICE
My husband kissed me twice today before he turned and walked away. Kiss Two was not a duty peck! He kissed me hard, hugged my neck, and held me very close to him. Now nothing in the world seems grim.
I felt so sleepy, almost tired, until Kiss Two got me inspired. Today is certain to be nice, just because he kissed me twice.
