Barbara Craig Baker
Barbara Craig Baker, 74, of Haskell, Arkansas, passed away June 23, 2022. She was born November 10, 1947, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Jessie Lawrence and Annie Lucille (Richey) Chase.
Barbara was of the Baptist faith and secured her salvation by being baptized at Calvary Baptist Church on September 30, 1979. Family was most important to Barbara and she would do anything for them. She adored her children and grandchildren. Barbara was a strong, hardworking woman who worked for Southwest Airlines, Phillips Lighting, and ASI Trucking Company. Barbara’s favorite place to be was at home surrounded by her family.
Preceding Barbara in death are her husband, William C. Baker; siblings: Louise Jenkins, Betty Grose, Jim Huett and Shirley Childress.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons: David W. Craig and wife Priscilla of Sherwood, Arkansas, Randall “Scott” Craig and wife Katie of Haskell, Arkansas, and Keith Baker and wife Judy of Traskwood, Arkansas; five grandchildren: John Quentin Craig, Kamryn Craig, Olivia Sandlin, Ian Craig, and Abby Craig; special cousin, Martha Guinn and husband Luther of Little Rock, Arkansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends who love Barbara and will miss her always.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, at Smith-benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 30, at the funeral home followed by burial at Lee Cemetery in Benton, Arkansas.
