It takes dedication to tail wagging and licking to earn the right to play in the greatest exhibition of cuteness the world has ever known. These puppies can’t wait to take to the gridiron in the Puppy Bowl Stadium and show off their moves on the field. The full player lineup from Team Ruff and Team Fluff will leave fantasy leagues barking up the wrong tree. This year, the game celebrates more puppies, more animal shelters and rescues, and more inspiring adoption stories than ever before.

5:30 p.m. on KLRT 0 Super Bowl LVII

State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., is the scene as the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelph­ia Eagles go at it for the league championsh­ip in Super Bowl LVII. In last year’s contest, that honor went to the Los Angeles Rams, who defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles.

Miss Scarlet and the Duke on Masterpiec­e

It’s a special delivery of the most unwanted kind when Eliza (Kate Phillips) receives a bomb in the mail. The female sleuth must team up with the Duke (Stuart Martin), Moses (Ansu Kabia) and her old enemy Patrick Nash (Felix Scott) to find out who is behind the deadly delivery in the Season 3 finale episode “The Jewel of the North.” Cathy Belton, Evan Mccabe, Tim Chipping and Simon Ludders also star.

7 p.m. on TCM Movie: Curly Top

Airing as part of a Shirley Temple double feature, wealthy Edward Morgan (John Boles) becomes charmed with a curly-haired orphan (Temple) and her pretty older sister Mary (Rochelle Hudson), and arranges to adopt both under the alias of “Mr. Jones.” As he spends more time with them, he soon finds himself falling in love with Mary in this 1935 musical romance.
