DAPPER SENIORS DO EVERYTHING TOGETHER

If Hamilton and Gus were people, you might find them playing checkers in a park or strolling along New York City’s streets on a sunny spring day. These “gentledogs” of a certain age ended up at Animal Care Centers of NYC together, and came to the Best Friends Lifesaving Center from there.

At 11 years old, they have their ailments and quirks. Both have a bit of arthritis, while Hamilton has a habit of nibbling on fabric (including Gus’ sweater) and Gus doesn’t see like he used to. But in our eyes, they’re perfect. After a short stay at the center, Hamilton and Gus were adopted, and now the two friends will get to enjoy their golden years in each other’s company.
