Nancy Lou Patrick, 92, passed away peacefully in New Braunfels, Texas, on March 15,

2021 and was assuredly able to meet her Jesus face to face. She lived a long, fulfilling life serving the Lord. Nancy’s family absolutely believes that the time she spent on this earth was lived to the fullest.

She was born June 15, 1928, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Rolla and Edna Lemoins. Nancy

devoted her life in ministry and serving others. She accompanie­d her husband as a missionary to Costa Rica, Columbia, and Albuquerqu­e. She was a pastor’s wife to their church in Washington D.C. in the 70’s. Her love for children was shown not only with her five children, but also when she attended Texas Wesleyan in Fort Worth to become a teacher. She taught mostly English to elementary students, but also substitute­d for all grades. Nancy enjoyed working at the First Baptist Church of Big Spring, Family Life Center for several years. Along with other friends, she served the Unity House of Prayer in Big Spring, Texas, at the old boxcar. She made many friends along the way. She enjoyed taking her grandchild­ren on walks, especially if it included examining nature and enjoyed drinking the popular drink, Dr. Pepper.

She is survived by a special sister in law, Joyce Lemoins. her son: Russell A. Patrick Jr.

and wife Christy Patrick. Her daughters: Donna and husband Richard, Leanne, Amy and husband Jess, and Michelle and husband Weston. Her grandchild­ren: Tony, Jesse, Dakota, Kiowa, Ruthie, Jess Jr., Malena, Patrick, Gloria, and Rylee. Nancy was also blessed with several great grandchild­ren. And a very special best friend, David Fent.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, her brother Carl, and her grandson Paul Patrick.

Family plans to have a private celebratio­n of her life and honor her wishes of scattering

her ashes in Alto Pass, Illinois, where her parents are buried.
