Chamber happenings...
The Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce makes it a priority to recognize businesses that choose to invest in the community.
Last week, Al's and Son BBQ was recognized with a Thank You Presentation. In addition to the Thank You presentation, a ribbon cutting was hosted by Talent Financial welcoming them to the community.
“New business means new opportunity for our community, but we need to also remember to show our appreciation for those long standing businesses in our community as well,” Debbye Valverde,
Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, said. “Our businesses invest so much into our community and they can only do that if we, as a community, continues to support them.”
Ambassadors gathered at Al's and Son BBQ to show their appreciation. For more than 50 years, Al's and Son has been serving up barbecue. They are located at 1810 S. Gregg and are open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the Thank You presentation, Manager Shari Fray extended an invitation to stop in and experience the food.
Chamber members, ambassadors and staff joined together to welcome Talent Financial Services as a new Chamber member.
