Valene Perry Mcmillan
Valene Mcmillan passed away on March 12, 2024, in Lewisville, TX at the age of 92, with her Children by her side. She was born in Elk City, OK on December 22, 1931, to Val and Ruby Pharr Perry. She graduated from Spur High School and Draughn's Business College. She met the love of her life, H.L. “Max” Mcmillan, and they were married on July 15, 1950, in Brownfield, TX.
Graveside services will be held at Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel, 6900 South Highway 87, Big Spring, TX at 11:00 am., Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm, Monday, March 18, 2024 at Nalley-pickle & Welch Funeral Home, 906 S. Gregg Street, Big Spring, TX, assisting.
Valene is survived by her three children, Perry Mcmillan and wife Tresa of Andrews, TX; Jodi Mcmillan of Allen, TX; and Rodney Mcmillan and wife Cissy of Celina, TX.
Her grandchildren and step-grandchildren were the apple of her eye. Everyone loved their “Precious Nana”. She has seven grandchildren: Cory
Adams (wife, Traci), Danny Adams (wife Kanji), Julie Paige Rodgers, Halie Jordyn Bell (husband Jordan), Garrett and Taylor Mcmillan; Vin and Candace Fisher, Mandy and Bill Perryman and Jeremy Montgomery.
She is also blessed with many great-grandchildren: Camryn and Jax Adams, Riley and Jaxon Rodgers, Preston and Reese Adams, Skylar, Kingston, and Theo Bell, Jett, Danlee and Mack Fisher, Mattison Tovar, Dylan, Carli, Lilly, Sophie and Dax Montgomery.
She was welcomed into the home of her Lord by her husband, Max; her parents, Val and Ruby Perry; her brother Don Perry and sister Jadean Doran.
We would like to thank Amedisys Hospice of Dallas. Aimee Mccall, Katrina Hendricks, Lauren and Alexandria who spent many countless hours taking care of our beautiful Mother and the care givers at Cedar Crest Assisted Living in Lewisville, TX.
