Kickoff time change for game against Lubbock High on Thursday

The Varsity Football game between the Big Spring Steers and the Lubbock Westerners has had a change of start time.

The game was originally slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. at Lubbock, but will now begin at 7:00 p.m.

The following is some important info to know about purchasing tickets and attending the game on Thursday night (tickets are available online only):

• Adults $8.00 - Online only

• Students $3.00 - Online only

• General Admission Gate Tickets $10.00 Limited to the 50% capacity rule

Spectators must self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms as outlined by TEA and UIL. Spectators must also be symptom free before arriving at the athletic facility.

Masks or face coverings are required as you enter, exit, and move around the athletic facility as outlined by the governor's order and/or the Lubbock ISD Health and Safety Plan.

Spectator seating will be permitted in designated seats only. Members of a singlehous­ehold may sit together, distanced at least six feet from any members of otherhouse­holds.

District passes will be admitted within the 50% capacity rule. You must get a ticket fromthe gate for admittance.

The district's clear bag policy will be enforced. No outside food or drink will be permitted. All tickets will be General Admission and will be limited to 50% capacity. Rules for sports activities and fans are subject to change based on guidance of the UIL.

Online tickets will be posted online at noon on Tuesday of game week.

Online ticket sales will close at midnight prior to game day.
