Coahoma boys split weekend games to Sweetwater & Eldorado

The Bulldogs split a pair of games this weekend at home earning a win against Eldorado (47-41) and a loss against 4A Sweetwater (22-67).
The Bulldogs earned their first win of the season in front of their home turf on Friday in a close game against Eldorado. Raheem Ashford and D’Kota Harrison both scored in the double digits to lead Coahoma to victory. Ashford had 14 points and Harrison tallied 13.
However, Coahoma couldn’t find any answers to stop a tough Sweetwater Mustang team from getting the victory. Ashford and Ryan Shifflett were the top scorers for Coahoma. Each earned six points each.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Buffaloes at Forsan on Tuesday.
