Naz Family Church

This Sunday - I read a story some time ago about a young boy in South Carolina named Richard Bellinger. His father was a pastor, and one night Richard decided to shine his father’s shoes before a special service. The following evening his father put a dollar on his son’s dresser with a note thanking him for what he had done. It was a reward for his good deed. The next day, when the father put on his shoes, he felt something inside. When he took the shoe off he found the dollar he had given his son and a note that simply read, “I did it for love.” Genuine love leads us to serve and obey. Jesus said it clearly, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” (John 14:15). You won’t want to miss this Sunday as we continue our study of First John and discover what it means to walk in the light of obedient love.

The Bridge - The New Year ushers in a new time and location for the NazFamily Bridge Campus. This Sunday, the Bridge will begin a 5:00pm worship service at our 1400 S. Lancaster location. All are welcome!

Blood Drive & Food Distribution - NazFamily, in partnership with PBOEM and Vitalant, will be hosting a blood drive and pop-up food distribution on Saturday, January 9th from 8am - 1pm. You can sign up for the blood drive at www.vitalant.org or simply show up on Saturday. And if you would like to help with the lunch or food distribution, please contact Pastor Josh at josh@ NazFamily.org

Child Sponsorship - You can make a difference in the life of a child! For far too many children, the only future they see is one that’s dimmed by poverty. But Nazarene Compassionate Ministries’ child sponsorship program gives children a chance to create a future bright with possibility. Sponsorship has brought the future into focus for thousands of children living in poverty, but there are thousands more still waiting for a sponsor. You can have an eternal impact in the life of a child for $30 per month. To sign up as a sponsor or learn more go to www.ncm.org
