Come see what God is doing at the corner of 11th and Birdwell Lane. We are open on Sunday morning at 9:15 for Bible Study for all ages. Worship time is at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday Youth activities start at 6 p.m. and meal between 6-6:45 with families. We meet for Bible Study and Prayer Meeting at 7 p.m. with children meeting for King’s Kids and Krafts. Girl’s Missions meet on Sunday at 5 p.m. Come join in the fun as we are celebrating a New Year in serving our Lord.

Services for February 14, 2021, are in the building. We are live streaming and on our Face Book page as well. Catch up on God’s perfect plan! We have face masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer available, and we are practicing social distancing. Families are sitting together. Visitors, it was a joy to welcome you on Sunday. Come join us again—it will be exciting to welcome new faces and old alike. Our services are lively and worshipful.

College Baptist Church reached our Lottie Moon Christmas offering goal. This goal was a challenging one where every dollar given will reach to the foreign mission field as we continue on mission for our Lord.

We definitely enjoy the worship time as our ministry team leads us in songs of praise, and where our pastor, Bro. Ken McMeans, inspires us as we delve into God’s Word, leading us as Jesus lives through us. Come study what it takes to really ‘Know the Lord our God,” knowing He cares for us so much He sent His only begotten Son to save us. Focus on Jesus as we continue into the New Year, as our pastor reminds us every Sunday, Jesus is coming SOON! Take a part in these joyful activities, and exciting worship, praising the Mighty God we serve. Please call: 432-267-7429, for more information concerning Men’s, Ladies’ and youth meetings at this great and friendly church.

This Sunday - Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. (Mt. 5:48 NIV) Are you a perfectionist? It can be a challenge living or working with a perfectionist. Everything has to be “just right” or it is all wrong. We live in a culture that idolizes perfection. Much like the Platonists of the ancient world, we seek after the ideal. We want the perfect smile, the perfect nose, the perfect body, the perfect job, the perfect day, the perfect family and on and on. Of course, nobody’s perfect and we wear ourselves out with this endless pursuit of perfection. Join us this Sunday as First John calls us away from this unattainable goal to pursue one thing—Perfect Love!

Rekindled - Do you want to rekindle your faith? Rekindle your relationship? Rekindle your love? You won’t want to miss our upcoming Rekindled Retreat on February 12 & 13 with special speakers Cal & Ceresa Callender and music by Amanda Kleeb. Contact Howard Callendar for more information or to sign up: howard@callenderinc.com or 661-549-6801.
