The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity:

• MICHAEL VIERA JR, 23, of 4009 Piper Road, was arrested on a charge of racing on highway – acceleration contest, etc.

• TERESA LORENE LANG, 38, of 2912 Cherokee Street, was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid previous conviction, criminal trespass – property/building/aircraft/ vehicle, public intoxication and possession marijuana less than or equal to two ounces.

• KYLE LEE SIMMONS, 28, transient, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass.

• ANDREA DENISE LAND, 48, of 100 Jonesboro Road, was arrested on a charge of possession of controlled substance less than or equal to a gram.

• JODY WAYNE DAWDY, 56, of 205 W. 5th Street, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
