Grand Jury indicts 28 individual­s

During its January term, the Howard County Grand Jury indicted 28 individual­s on felony charges.

• Caleb Michael Caldwell, 21, of 3614 Parkway was indicted on a charge of promotion of intimate visual material, a state jail felony. Caldwell was arrested Nov. 24, 2019.

• Miguel Rafael Casillas, 34, currently a resident of the Howard County Jail, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault of a public servant, a first-degree felony. Casillas was arrested Jan. 8.

• Billy Joe Edmondson, 40, currently a resident of the Howard County Jail, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a second-degree felony (enhanced). Edmondson was arrested Jan. 8.

• Adam Martinez Estrada Jr., 25, of 1905 Wasson Rd. Apt. 64 was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation with assault, a second-degree felony. Estrada was arrested Aug. 25, 2020.

• Consencio Raymone Ford, 36, currently a resident of the Howard County Jail, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (penalty group 1, one to four grams), a seconddegr­ee felony (enhanced). Ford was arrested Aug. 6, 2020.

• James Martin Garza, 27, of 2109 S. Johnson was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a previous conviction, a third-degree felony (enhanced). Garza was arrested June 12, 2019.

• Angel Enrique Hinojosa, 23, currently a resident of the Howard County Jail, was indicted on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a third-degree felony. Hinojosa was arrested Jan. 30.

• Anthony Alphonso Lewis, 49, of 610 E. 15th St. was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second degree felony. Lewis was arrested March 8, 2020.

• Terrance Monte Lewis, 34, currently a resident of the Howard County Jail, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Lewis was arrested Oct. 28, 2020. Lewis was also indicted on a charge of aggravated robbery, and was arrested for that offense Dec. 15, 2020. Both charges are first-degree felonies (habitual).

• Michael Warren Lockhart, 64, of 1104 W. Third St. was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicate­d (third offense or more), a second-degree felony (enhanced). Lockhard was arrested Nov. 4, 2019.

• Jonathan Charles Lopez, 29, of 1303 N. 10th St. in Lamesa was indicted on a charge of forgery of a financial instrument, a state jail felony. Lopez was arrested June 22, 2019.
