Bud was born July 27, 1943, in Tom Green County, Texas, to Clarence Elbert Graham Sr. and Laura Isabel Smith Graham. Bud married Ruth A. Griffin Graham, in October 1982 and she preceded him in death in 2013. Bud married Patsy Sue Sorrells (Carr) Graham, June 2014 in Tarrant County, Texas.

Bud was a retiree from the State Hospital in Big Spring, Texas where he worked as a Mechanical Engineer while raising horses as his avocation. He

served in the United States Navy from 1963 through 1967 where he received the National Defense Service Medal and served aboard the USS Goodrich. Bud was an avid woodworker and gifted his family with his treasured pieces. After moving to North Texas, he transformed his backyard into a garden oasis where he and his wife, Patsy, enjoyed spending many hours relaxing. His good humor and avid interest in the “why’ of things never waned down to his last days and he always enjoyed in-depth conversations on any topic.

Survivors include Bud’s wife, Patsy, his brothers, Gary Ted Graham and Michael Wayne Graham, two children by a previous marriage, and Carrie Carr and Kenneth Carr and their families who he cherished as his own, and, in turn, cherished him.

In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his late wife of nearly 33 years, Ruth.
