Forsan Buffaloes win another one push record to 3-0

-

The Forsan Buffaloes came into this past Friday’s game enjoying a perfect 2-0 record on the season. The Buffs have been playing brilliant ball all season long. They will look to continue the hot play as they had a meeting with the Stanton Buffaloes on Stanton’s home field. Instead, the Forsan Buffaloes did what they have been doing all season long and beat the Buffaloes from Stanton. Forsan won this game easily with a final score of 45 to 7.

Forsan was on a roll and carried that momentum into this game, coming off an excellent game in which they beat Post 22 to 6. The Buffs were looking to keep the good times rolling in this matchup. This would be the battle of the Buffaloes as both teams have the same mascot. However, it was the Forsan Buffs who came out of the tunnel on fire. Forsan wasted little time letting Stanton know who was in control of this game. Forsan came out swinging, and boy, did they do an excellent job as they put up 17 points in just the first quarter of play. Not only did the offense come to play, but it was also the defense who came to play as they shut down the team from Stanton quickly. After the first quarter of play, the score was Forsan 17 and Stanton 0.

The second quarter of play was marginally slower for both teams, as it seemed both teams finally settled in the game. It was still Forsan who was the team in charge, as you could see from the play of this great defense. This Forsan defense is something special as they continuously make play after play and have bodies flying all over the field all game long. As the defense shinned, the offense scored in the second quarter extending this lead to 24 to 0 at halftime.

When the second half rolled around, there was little question in who would win this game. Forsan continued to be the dominant team on the field. They just continued to outplay Stanton in every aspect of the game. While Stanton did eventually get on the board with a touchdown of their own this quarter. It was Forsan who tacked on 14 more points in the third quarter, making this a 38 to 7 game heading into the last quarter of play.

As the last quarter of play began, they had decided long ago this game. It was clear who the best Buffaloes on this field were, and that was the Forsan Buffaloes. While Forsan dialed it back in the fourth quarter, they nevertheless put up seven more points in the last quarter of play, making this game a 54 to 7 game. That was the final TD of the game as Forsan finished the magnificent night of football with a final score of 54 to 7.

This was a complete victory all over the field. Both sides of the ball played their hearts out, and it
