City Council to consider Green, Hagen, Darden evaluations Tuesday
The Big Spring City Council will consider the discuss the evaluations of Municipal Judge Timothy Green, City Attorney Andrew Hagen, and City Manager Todd Darden in executive session at the end of the City Council meeting Tuesday evening.
The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Council Chambers, 307 E. Fourth Street. In addition to attending the meeting in person, those interested can view the proceedings on Local

The meeting will open with the invocation and Pledge of Allegiance, followed by public comment.
City Manager Todd Darden will report on Sept. 15's Large Item Pickup in District 3, and Dr. Steve Ahmed will give a COVID-19 update.
On it's consent agenda, the council will consider approval of its minutes of meetings Sept. 13 and Sept. 14; hear final readings of ordinances adopting the annual budget and ad valorem tax rate for the upcoming year, granting a partial homestead exemption for the upcoming year, increasing water rates in response to an increase from the Colorado River Municipal Water District, establishing the pay schedule for the city's police and fire departments, correcting and moving the section of city code governing the Zoning Board of Adjustment and the Planning and Zoning Commission to Chapter 2 of the Big Spring City Code; and hear the final reading of resolutions amending the number of directors and the manner of appointment of directors to the Big Spring Economic Development Corporation, and joining with the state of Texas and other political subdivisions within the state as a party in the Texas Opioid Settlement Agreements secured by the Attorney General.
The council will consider approval of vouchers totaling $327,060.58 for Sept. 16; and totaling $981,910.97 for Sept. 23.
