The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity:

• ROBERT ADAM MATA, 34, of 403 Valley Street, was arrested on a warrant from other agency.

• EDWARD MARTINEZ, 35, transient, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass – habitation/shelter.

• KIEF INMAN BLACK, 27, of 120 Hooser Road, was arrested on a charge of possession of controlled substance between one gram and four grams.

• ASSAULT was reported in the 900 block of Willia Street.

• SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY was reported in the 8300 block of N. Service Road.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 600 block of McEwen Street; 600 block of Circle Drive.

• THEFT was reported in Coahoma; 3300 block of W. CR 46; 3600 block of W. Hwy 80; 200 block of N. Gregg Street.

• BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the three miles north of Coahoma.

• ACCIDENT MINOR was reported in the area of 4th and Birdwell.

• ASSAULT was reported in the 2600 block of Ent Drive.

• STOLEN VEHICLE was reported in the 2200 block of Williams Road.

• ASSAULT was reported in the 700 block of Ohio.

• BURGLARY OF HABITATION was reported in the 6600 block of E. Midway Road.

• UNWANTED SUBJECT was reported in the 1600 block of S. Owens Street.

• IDENTITY THEFT was reported in the

1100 block of Stanford Avenue.

Connie Rodriguez, 63, died Friday. Visitation 9 AM until 9 PM Tuesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Vigil service 7 PM Tuesday at Myers & Smith Chapel.

Viola Lopez, 70, died Thursday. Rosary will be 7:00 PM Friday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10:000 AM Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial at Coahoma Cemetery.

Tamala Calhoun, 58, died Saturday. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 5:00 PM Thursday at Myers & Smith Chapel.
