Council approves BSHA support resolution Tuesday

During its meeting Tuesday evening, the Big Spring City Council unanimousl­y approved a resolution supporting the Big Spring Housing Authority and opposing a plan of transferri­ng administra­tion of the Local Housing Choice Voucher Program to the Abilene Housing Authority.

According to the resolution, the program, which has been in place since 1998, serves about 230 recipients in resolution states.
