Wanda Kinsey Jones

Wanda Kinsey Jones, age 86, was born July 25, 1935, in Sweetwater, Texas, to James and Vida Kinsey. She passed to her heavenly home surrounded by her children on Saturday, July 23, 2022, in Big Spring, Texas.

She is survived by her daughters, Glenda (Frank) Long of Big Spring and Judy (Blain) Lewis of Midland, Texas. She is also survived by her son, Jimmie (Tina) Jones of Abilene, Texas; six grandchildren, Kimberly (Scott) Nelson of Frisco, Texas, Tracy (Travis) Crow of Georgetown, Texas, Jamie (Brian) Wills of Round Rock, Texas, Michael (Hannah) Lewis of Madisonville, Louisiana, Timothy Lewis of Frisco, Texas, and Cambrey Jones of Abilene, Texas; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James; and sisters, Molly, Jo, and Sarah.

Wanda was office manager for Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Big Spring for 30 years, retiring in 1999. She was also a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church in Big Spring. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.

Visitation will be at Myers and Smith Funeral Home from 5:30 – 7 p.m. Thursday July 28, 2022. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday July 29, 2022, in the chapel of Myers and Smith Funeral Home in Big Spring followed by burial at Trinity Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Scott Nelson, Andrew Nelson, Travis Crow, Brian Wills, Michael Lewis and Timothy Lewis.

Her family is thankful for the care she received from Park Place and Parkview care centers in Big Spring.
