Jack Woodley, formerly of Forsan, passed away Feb. 7, 2023, at his home in Granbury after a twoyear battle with cancer.

Jack is survived by: his wife, Ann, of the home; daughters, Kay Chandler and spouse Kenneth, Karen Spottswood and husband, Hal; stepson, Charlie Bott and wife, Sarah; and stepdaught­er Stacey Bott.

Jack's grandchild­ren are: Matthew Mccraney; Stormi Bryan and husband, Chris; Meagan Bonnot and husband, Derric; Madison Wilsman, Hailey Wilsman, Sydney Wilsman, Noah Bott and Oliver Bott. Eight great-grandchild­ren include Bentley Bryan, Emery Bryan, Slayde Bryan, Coulter Bryan, Levi Bonnot, Ollie Bonnot, Maeley Bonnot, and Evie Bonnot. Jack is also survived by numerous relatives within the Big Spring area.

Services will be on Monday, Feb. 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Granbury First United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory can be made to one of these favorite charities: Food Pantry of FUMC, Shriners' Hospital, or Hood County Habitat for Humanity.

HC Commission­er’s Court will hold their regular meeting Monday, Feb. 13, 3:30 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the Howard County Court House, 300 S. Main. The public is welcome.

The Greater Big Spring Rotary is hosting Pints for Polio at The Hardware Store & The Courtyard located at 117 S. Main St., Saturday, March 25, 7 p.m. to 11:55 p.m. Advance tickets are $45 or $50 at the door. Wide variety of beer and wine for sampling. Live music by Spur 327 and Eddie Austin. The Heritage Museum
