Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
There will be people who we do not need to hang with, especially if it’s not healthy or edifying.
According to scripture He is working on us. I understand we need to give one another room to grow.
But you still have your carnal Christians and religious holier-thanthou and babes to deal with.
But for now love them from a distance.
You see you have to stand for righteousness. Buy the truth and sell it not.
Don’t allow people to drain you. Protect yourself from seeds of negativity to be planted in your heart.
You don’t need to be around judgemental people. People who constantly criticize you and be preaching at you.
Growing up, I was being raised by my grandmother and a single mom. As a child you don’t have a voice, you don’t have a choice on what you say or do. You don’t have a choice on what you eat or what you wear. But I understand these are not all bad. If they’re for your own good.
I say that to say this as an adult, I don’t need to put up with things or people. I have a choice who I want in my life.
Matthew 5:44 teaches us how to handle matters of the heart my friend. But also what is important is that we know who our enemy is. This is why God says to pray for those who spitefully use us and persecute us. It never says to hang out with them, never.
But we need to be holy separate to be able stand for righteousness. Remember God wants us to have life and have it abundantly. Pursue God! Prayer: Heavenly Father I Pray all hindrance be removed out of our lives to pursue peace with all men and ask for Godly wisdom to be applied to our lives. To quickly forgive and move on and be wise of the enemy’s schemes and stay at your feet always close to you where healing flows.
