What Difference will You Make

setting of any kind, we can make be a difference. We must show the world by our example, the difference Jesus makes in a person's life when He comes in and settles our place in Heaven.

The difference we are to this Christ less society might mean the difference as to where our friends and loved ones spend eternity. We go along with the crowd too often. We make their choices for our lives, instead of make Christ like choices.

When Jesus comes in, He makes the difference in our destiny for eternity. He makes the difference in every decision we make for His glory. He brings peace instead of chaos, mercy instead of judgment, love instead of hate, and freedom instead of bondage to sin.

Now we need to be the difference like He was. We need to show this incredible love to a world filled with hate, killings, thievery, dishonesty, and violence.

When we love our neighbour as ourselves, we are a difference. When we bow down to our God and worship no other, we are a difference. When Jesus reigns supreme in our lives of submission to Him, we are a tangible difference the world sees.

And, who knows if we were put on this earth to be Christ to the world. We really are the only Bible some people read. Are they reading a different life style than the one the world chooses? Are they making life changing choices that will make a difference in their eternal destination? Are you helping or hindering their search for God?

Esther the queen was the difference between her Jewish people living or dying. Joseph was the difference between His family starving to death or coming into the only place they could find food for their families. Joshua was the difference between his nation conquering the land promised to them by God. And most importantly Jesus hung on the cross and was crucified so I could have a different destiny for all eternity.

Will you be the difference? Will choose right? Will you show others the difference between your life and the lost? Only you can show your circle of influence the difference. But you can't be the difference if you don't know Jesus as your personal Saviour. Then and only then will it be settled in Heaven whether you can be a difference or not.

Choose Jesus to be that difference.
