Building your own backyard frog pond is surprisingly quick and easy.

Step 1. Decide how large you want the circumference of your pond to be, then start digging to a depth of about 2 feet.

Step 2. Use pond liner to cover the inside of the hole. Pond liner can be purchased online or at big-box stores.

Step 3. Rim edges of liner with rocks to weigh it down. Fill the pond with water. Add aquatic vegetation.

Step 4. Wait for the frogs to show up!
