Blueberry Scholarship winners
The Marshall County Blueberry Festival is proud to award two different sets of scholarships each year.
The first is the annual Blueberry Festival Scholarships.
These scholarships are awarded to seniors attending a Marshall County High School and are active in volunteering throughout the county, including the Blueberry Festival.
This is the eighth year for the Marshall County Blueberry Scholarships to be awarded and in 2020 the scholarships will be renamed the Dick Johnson Memorial Scholarship.
This year winners are Daniel Stauffer, Olyvia Clark and Trent McKenzie from Plymouth High School.
Each recipient received a $500 scholarship.
The second set was awarded at the Miss Blueberry Pageant.
Abigail Powell, 2019 Miss Blueberry received a $1250 scholarship.
First Runner-up Mary Yeo received a $750 scholarship .
Second runner-up Delanie Groves received a $500 scholarship.
These scholarships are funded with the proceeds from the "All Things Blueberry" booth located by Information Booth No. 1 during the festival along with any funds designated for the Scholarship Fund throughout the year.
