Cori Humes is 2019 Grand Marshal

Corine “Cori” Humes, daughter of Connie and David Holzwart, is a lifelong resident of Marshall County and a 2004 Plymouth High School graduate.

She continued her education after high school at IUSB and earned her bachelor’s degree in political science.

Humes and her family reside in

Marshall County and she has been the executive director of the Marshall County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau since the beginning of 2014.

In her directorsh­ip, Humes has been part of many projects from NITDC Food Wars to the Bicentenni­al Celebratio­n to the Stellar Grant Program.

Cori works daily to promote Marshall County across the state including the Marshall County Blueberry Festival,

always promoting its theme, “Indiana’s Largest Meet and Greet.”

She continues to find new ways to help put Marshall County on the map and to bring visitors in to enjoy what our communitie­s have to offer.

Humes has enjoyed the Marshall County Blueberry Festival throughout the years and is grateful that she now is able to be part of it as well as share the experience with her children.
