This is the second trailer we’ve re-equipped with Maxxis tires. These six-ply-rated tires matched the factory specs of the trailer and load, but we felt they carried the load better with more firm handling and less sway. We run them at 45 pounds psi cold and have had no trouble with sway, even when dumping off the shoulder or crossing uneven surfaces in construction zones.
