Wil­liam R. “Bill” Cox is one of Florida’s best land­scape and wildlife pho­tog­ra­phers. This 40-year pro­fes­sional is sched­ul­ing teach­ing work­shops to share and in­struct on the finer points of shoot­ing cityscapes, wildlife, peo­ple and land­scapes us­ing a dig­i­tal single-lens re­flex, or DSLR, cam­era. In­struc­tion will cover cam­era me­chan­ics and tech­ni­cal choices to con­trol im­age out­comes (amaz­ing vs. av­er­age). You will ex­pe­ri­ence an expert’s guid­ance on lenses, flash, light , ex­po­sure, shut­ter speeds, f-stops, ISO set­tings, tripods and much more. The ad­van­tages and dis­ad­van­tages of shoot­ing images in RAW or JPEG will also be dis­cussed. These work­shops will be held Sept. 27 and Oct. 25 be­gin­ning at 10 a.m. at the TOTI Me­dia, Inc. of­fice at 2491 Palm Ridge Road, Sani­bel (Speed­way com­plex). En­roll­ment is lim­ited to four (4) stu­dents per work­shop. Cost is $180 per per­son, which in­cludes one (1) hour of lec­ture and two (2) hours of wildlife pho­tog­ra­phy on Sani­bel.
