PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THESE DATES: The new moon on July 13 at 20 de grees Cancer is a partial eclipse; this will be a v ery busy day when you should find people helpful. The full moon on July 27 at 4 degrees Aquarius is a total eclipse; this is a good time to be quiet and keep new ideas to yourself. The new moon on August 11 is another partial eclipse, at 18 degrees Leo; it can bring unexpected news. The full moon on August 26 at 3 degrees Pisces is a time to keep family discussions calm and on an even keel. Mercury goes retrograde on July 26 and direct on August 19; make decisions before July 26 and after August 19.
ARIES (MARCH 21 TO APRIL 20) Mars, your ruler, gives you a lot of energy, enthusiasm and determination, especially for new ideas. You are in a time frame when it is good to readjust your lifestyle and take on some new classes, a new job or join new organizations. You are a person who enjoys the excitement of buying and moving into a neighborhood. You are naturally optimistic about the new and different.
TAURUS (APRIL 21 TO MAY 20) The new moon on July 13 is a partial eclipse, and this is an eventful day. Think about what you want, and initiate or take actions to enhance what is already going well in your life. On July 11 Jupiter goes direct; on July 12 your ruler, Venus, trines Uranus. These planets together can bring good surprises.
GEMINI (MAY 21 TO JUNE 20) Mercury, your ruler, goes retrograde July 26. Try to make all important decisions and take action before that date. On August 19 Mercury goes direct, after which you will once again be able to believe what you hear and rely on information you receive. Whenever Mercury is retrograde it’s a time-out period for you.
CANCER (JUNE 21 TO JULY 22) Cancers are known for their empathy. Your desire to help—and your ability to make delicious casseroles when someone is in need—make you popular. Of course, your ruler is the moon; that changes signs every few days, causing you to change projects in accordance with whichever sign the moon occupies. It can make you emotional.
LEO (JULY 23 TO AUGUST 22) Your ruler, the sun, makes you happiest when you are outside in the sunshine. Any sport such as golf, swimming or even walking is beneficial to you. July 27 on the full moon and total eclipse is a special day for you. Plan something with good friends, especially Sagittarians or other Leos. You like happy, active, friendly people who want to get out and see what’s happening in the world.
VIRGO (AUGUST 23 TO SEPTEMBER 22) Virgo is the sign of the planner. You’re not happy without a calendar. You have a meticulous nature and like everything done according to your specifications, which are stringent. You like things done to perfection and are most critical of yourself. You need to be less fussy, worry less and relax.
LIBRA (SEPTEMBER 23 TO OCTOBER 22) July and August should be full of social events that are close to home. You may feel discontent and need a vacation. Friends and family can cause concern, but that will not last long. With your ruler, Venus, in Virgo in July you may feel worried; however, things will work out fine after August 19.
SCORPIO (OCTOBER 23 TO NOVEMBER 22) Yours is a very complex sign. You have two rulers assigned to you. Mars is the ancient ruler; Pluto is the newer planet assigned to Scorpio. It makes sense to give Scorpio two rulers, since both planets are intense and very strong. Together they more aptly describe powerhouse Scorpio. Think Hillary, who is a “double Scorpio”!
SAGITTARIUS (NOVEMBER 23 TO DECEMBER 21) This freedom-loving sign is getting ready for good changes. Get your life in order so it’s easy to take off spontaneously on a long or foreign trip. You like excitement, friends and new, surprising adventures—and they are coming. Now is a preparation time. You’ve got one of the zodiac’s most amazing imaginations, so use it—you’re inspired now.
CAPRICORN (DECEMBER 22 TO JANUARY 19) You’re a serious, work-oriented, no-nonsense person, and that is particularly true now. Starting your own business is supremely favored even if you have to add it to a job you already have. People in your family may help you. You are the kind of person who makes your own opportunities, and you are a great builder of businesses.
AQUARIUS (JANUARY 20 TO FEBRUARY 18) Aquarius is a fixed sign, and that means you can sometimes be stubborn. You are most often right, however. You will listen to those you judge accomplished in their fields, but you do always question the ideas of others and don’t take things for granted. In your case that is a good thing, since you have new and inventive ideas that may be the best.
PISCES (FEBRUARY 19 TO MARCH 20) The lunar eclipse on July 27, and two partial solar eclipses—one on July 13 and another on August 11—certainly should make these months important for you. There is a need to be cautious. Eclipses often change things dramatically and have been known to cancel events you think are definitely going to happen. Hang loose and be careful!
