Susie “Sue” Nell Ferguson Yohn

Susie “Sue” Nell Ferguson Yohn, 85, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Glenn Hermanson officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, July 25, 2022, at the funeral home.

Sue was born April 18, 1937, in Athens, Arkansas to Clyde and Ozie (Tollett) Ferguson, she moved to Borger, Texas when she was 6 years old.

She started working at an early age. Sue picked cotton with her parents, brothers, and sisters. She worked as a cook and car hop at the Old Post drive in. Waited tables at the Chat & Chew and Round the Clock. She worked at A-1 Appliance for over 40 years for her brother, Stonie.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Yohn; parents, Clyde and Ozie Ferguson; children, Timmy, Jimmy and Bobby Yohn; brothers, Clyde Jr Ferguson, Neil Ferguson and Stonie Ferguson; and sisters, Margaret Graham, JoAnn Durham, Tommie Parkhurst, and Terry Helen Ferguson.

Sue is survived by her children, Geraldine Tollison and husband Don of Sanford, Elaina Fruit of Borger, John Yohn and wife Kay of Borger; brother, John Ferguson of Pampa; sister, Kathy Armstrong of Borger; 18 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Johnathan Yohn, Chucky Murley, James Murley, Robert Godwin, Jake Yohn, Hunter Tollison, and Lance Tollison. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Yohn, Michael Tollison, Sandy Ferguson, Rocky Ferguson, Stevin Marsh, Greg Garton, Michael Robinson, Mason Robinson, Seth Robinson, and Barrett Tollison.
