Brice Manasco

Brice Manasco passed to his Heavenly home, Sunday, July 31, 2022.

He was born August 13, 1937, in Polk County, Arkansas, to Thomas Jefferson and Julie Davis Manasco. He was raised on a farm in Cove, Arkansas with 5 brothers and 6 sisters.

In 1956, Brice moved to Borger, where he met the love of his life, Martha Monk, while she was working at the Morley Theatre. Brice and Martha were married in Polk County, Arkansas, on July 11, 1957. From this blessed union, they had 3 wonderful children.

In 1965, Brice and Martha moved to Odessa, Texas to pursue a better opportunit­y with Big Three Industries. At Odessa, they meet and still cherish the many family friends. In 1980, after their youngest child graduated from Odessa High School, they moved back to Stinnett and Brice continued to work for Big Three (Air Liquid). In 1984, Brice retired after 34 years.

Brice loved going to the coffee shop in Stinnett and hanging out around the “Table of Knowledge”. His passion was working on Lincoln Welding machines which he did until his passing. One of his proudest moments is when he obtained his 32 degree from the Masonic Lodge. Brice was a long standing member of the First Christian Church, Stinnett.

Preceding him in death was his beautiful daughter, Rebecca Ann Manasco; his parents Thomas Jefferson and Julie Davis Manasco; 5 sisters; 4 brothers and in-laws: K.V, (Pete) Monk and Angela O’Gorman Monk.

Leaving behind to forever cherish his memories are his beautiful wife of 64 years, Martha; 2 sons: Kenneth Manasco of Stinnett and Ricky Manasco of Stinnett; a grandson, Derek Thomas and wife Tamrya of Bushland, Texas; 2 great grandchild­ren: Brynlee and Brody Manasco; his loving brother, Tom Manasco of Cove, Arkansas ; a sister, Rosie Brown and husband Cecil of Cove, Arkansas; 4 brother-inlaws; 2 sister-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and a host of friends.

The family would like to thank Beatty and Freddie Tankersley and the Jones Family for all their love and support while living in Odessa.

Serving as pallbearer­s will be Kenneth Manasco, Ricky Manasco, Derek Manasco, Randy Ralls, Paul Monk and Roy Monk. Honorary pallbearer­s will Tom Manasco, Don Davis, Joe Monk and all the guys at the “Table of Knowledge”.

The family will welcome friends on Wednesday, August 3, from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm at Brown’s Chapel of the Fountains, 206 W. 1st St., Borger.

Graveside services will be held Thursday,August 4, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Stinnett Cemetery, Stinnett, Texas.
