Spots available for the City of Borger Garage Sale

Are you looking to host a garage/yard sale but unsure how the weather will affect all your planning? The Texas Panhandle wind often wreaks havoc on all our hard work and time spent, causing garage sales to be more work than we expected.

The City of Borger has devised an idea to help keep your garage sale plans on track! The City of Borger is hosting a Community Garage Sale inside the newly renovated Dome Civic and Convention Center on Saturday, January 27, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Applications are now open for garage sale space at the Dome, and the registration cost is free.

“Our neighboring communities are welcome to participate. Application for space must be completed and approved before the sale. You will receive an email confirmation with details on your assigned area,” said the City of Borger.

A bonus is that local non-profits will be onsite to collect unwanted items, so you don’t have to take anything back home following the sale.

Here’s what you need to know from the City of Borger about the sale:

-Set up will be at 6 A.M. Saturday.

-The Dome is not a 24/7 operated facility and an event occupies space the night before, so no earlier time frame is available.

-Bring your tables and chairs!

-You can utilize asmuch space as you would like. Space is first come, first served as long as you have applied for space.

-The facility will not be staffed during the garage sale. The dome is hosted as a convenience only.
