LOVIN’ SPOONFULS ULTIMATE TAILGATE
Lovin’ Spoonfuls, founded by Ashley Stanley, hosted its most successful Ultimate Tailgate Party to date, raising more than $250,000 to support its food rescue operations. The annual event, held at Cruiseport Boston, drew more than 500 people and was emceed by Lovin’ Spoonfuls Culinary Board members Andrew Zimmern and Ming Tsai. The celebration marked an exciting end to a recordbreaking week in which the nonprofit recovered its 5,000,000th pound of food. Chef Jamie Bissonnette was honored with the Thomas M. Menino Award for Leadership for his commitment to food rescue.
