HELLENIC WOMEN’S MISTLETOE BALL
More than 300 guests, reveling in live Greek and American music courtesy of the Dean Vali Band, attended the Hellenic Women’s Club’s annual Mistletoe Ball to raise money in support of the club’s philanthropic missions. This year’s beneficiaries include Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Massachusetts General Hospital, and EOK’s General Scholarship Fund. In addition, the club handed out $5,000 scholarships to six outstanding young women. Since 1946, when the Mistletoe Ball was founded as a fundraiser for orphans from war-torn Greece, the Club has donated more than $1 million to charity.
