A FEAST OF MUSIC GALA

The focus was on Russia at this year's "A Feast of Music" Gala for the New England Conservatory. Musical performances of works by Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff and other more unusual pieces of Russian folk music and choral works were soaked in by the crowds at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. Janet Wu served as the emcee for the evening, and guests included Russian artist Misha Lenn and Jamie Tisch. Deborah Elfers, Hope Baker, Sibila Gloggler Korb, and Margarita Rudyak served as the event chairs for a gala that raised more than $816,000.
