Cangelosi, White lift BC past UMass

Austin Cangelosi scored twice and teammate Colin White had two goals plus an assist for eighth-ranked Boston College during the Eagles’ 7-4 Hockey East win over UMass at the Mullins Center in Amherst.

JD Dudek, Ryan Fitzgerald and Jesper Mattila each lit the lamp once for the Eagles (6-2-1, 2-0-1). BC built a 3-0 lead after one period and pushed it to a 5-0 margin after two.

Austin Plevy, Patrick Lee, Ryan Badger and Kurt Keats each notched a goal for the Minutemen (2-4-0, 0-2-0).
