How about an uphill winter mountain race with a twist? (As if uphill were not a twist enough). Racers will dash to the top of the mountain, then race down using any gear they choose, whether it be a snowboard, skis, anything, to win prizes. Here’s the twist: You must carry up what you want to use to get down. It all kicks off at 6 a.m., which does not just mean beautiful morning light, but that when you are done, you have a whole ski day ahead of you. Sounds like a win for all. patspeak.com
