BOSTON DESIGNERS SHOW OFF STYLE

-

BOSTON STYLE: Proving that you don't have to schlep to New York to find great designers and fabulous fashion, the Project Runway Designer Showcase hit the Gallery Boston catwalk at the W hotel last night, and it was fierce.

The presentation featured “Project Runway” design contestants Cornelius Ortiz of Boston and Nathalia Jmag of Framingham. As fans know, both designers went to Framingham State University, where they met long before wielding scissors on the Lifetime reality series together.

The stylish shindig was co-hosted by Gustavo Leon, managing editor/ creative of the Boston Herald and Nick Yousif.

And showing the crowd how the Hub holds its own when it comes to creativity were other standout local designers and their collections; Casa De Angelina, Martha Jackson, Irina Gorbman and Najah Muhammad.

The whole glittering shebang was presented by Voge Fashion Runway.
