Most of the Dakota Access pipeline opponents abandoned their protest camp in Cannon Ball, N.D., yesterday. Some of the camp went up in flames when occupants set fire to makeshift wooden housing as part of a leaving ceremony. Authorities said a 7-year-old and a 17-year-old were taken to a hospital to be treated for burns.
